Celebrating the Small Stuff.
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people wont feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

California Love | Date at the Getty ($)
We got to see an amazing sunset over the mountains along with a gorgeous view of the city. The date was so romantic and I think it was the first sunset Fianc-bae and i actually got to see together. We have plans on going back of course, not only for the art but also to relive that awesome view.
California Love | First Impressions
The restaurants in Los Angeles are extremely vegan friendly. Joe and I have yet to find one place we went to that did not have vegan options. I'm sure there are some places don't get me wrong. But if you're a newly transitioning vegan like I am, it really helps that you can just stop some place and get something. It really eases the tension of making sure you haul your lunch around everywhere.
New Beginnings | Goals For 2017
I got in engaged and literally drove to the other side of United States! Crazy Right?! Moving to a completely new state with my Fiance has opened my perspective to how big this world truly is. Along the way I managed to knock 2 things off my bucket list. Thing 1: I drove on Route 66! It has been since I was a child, I must've seen someone do it in a movie and decided I wanna do that one day, Don't ask, kids are weird. Thing 2: I saw the Grand Canyon and boy was it Grand!! Driving through Arizona was one of the most beautiful and most gracious out of all the states we'd encountered.
Hello There.
I'm a huge health nut and I truly believe that Hippocrates was completely right when he told us "Let Food be thy medicine." I've exposed myself to so many documentaries, blogs, and books pertaining to that quote alone. With that being said, I'm pretty sure you know what this blog is gonna be about. Yep, Foods!! Healthy foods, for dinner, on the go, weight loss, healing, and anything else I can get around to sharing.
