My Vegan Valentine 2020 Recap
A Night Full of Love and Lessons!
My second annual My Vegan Valentine was truly a night to remember – and one that pushed me creatively and logistically. Hosted in the cozy clubhouse of my best friend’s neighborhood, the evening was intimate, heartfelt, and full of love – with a few behind-the-scenes challenges that made it all the more rewarding.
Unlike my first year, this space had a much smaller kitchen, and I definitely felt the pressure. Prepping four courses in limited space meant improvising, juggling dishes, and turning every inch of counter space into a workstation. It was hectic, yes – but also exciting, like a culinary puzzle coming together piece by piece.
With just 24 tickets available, we sold out completely, filling the clubhouse with a warm, excited energy. Seeing guests gather, laugh, and share this experience reminded me why I love hosting these events so much.
This year’s menu was all about indulgent vegan dining, elevated by thoughtful wine pairings from the incredible Brion Cephus of Certified Wino. Instead of just a cocktail hour, Brion curated a unique wine pairing for each of the four courses, elevating every bite and sip into an unforgettable flavor experience.
A huge thank you to Entz Media for bringing the evening to life on video. Watching it back, I can feel the warmth of the room, the creativity on each plate, and the joy shared by everyone there.
Hosting this event was a labor of love – long hours of prep, a tight kitchen, and the thrill of making it all come together. But the smiles, conversations, and full plates made it worth every second.
Thank you to everyone who attended and supported My Vegan Valentine 2020. And a very special thank you to Brion Cephus for his exceptional wine pairings and to Entz Media for capturing it all so beautifully.
