Cauliflower Buffalo Wings
- Cauliflower | 1/2 head (steak scraps)
- flour | 1 cup
- non-dairy milk | 1 cup
- lemon juice | 1/2 lemon; 1 tbsp
- paprika | 1 tbsp
- onion powder | 1 tbsp
- garlic powder | 1 tbsp
- cumin | 1 tsp
- salt n pepper | to taste
- VEGAN Buffalo sauce | 1 cup
- vegetable oil | 1 cup (your preference; I prefer shallow frying)
- Cut cauliflower into boneless wing like florets
- Mix lemon juice and non-dairy milk together to form a vegan buttermilk; soak florets in mixture for 10 min.
- In a separate bowl mix together flour and spices
- Coat cauliflower in dredge mixture and set a side for frying,
- Heat saute pan with vegetable to medium heat and shallow fry florets until crispy on both sides. Cook as long as you desire. I cooked mine for about 4 min on each side.
- Once florets are done, toss them in buffalo sauce and bake in the oven for 10 min. Enjoy!! Serves best with baked potato wedges.
