Cauliflower Buffalo Wings

  • Cauliflower | 1/2 head (steak scraps)
  • flour | 1 cup
  • non-dairy milk | 1 cup
  • lemon juice | 1/2 lemon; 1 tbsp
  • paprika | 1 tbsp
  • onion powder | 1 tbsp
  • garlic powder | 1 tbsp
  • cumin | 1 tsp
  • salt n pepper | to taste
  • VEGAN Buffalo sauce | 1 cup
  • vegetable oil | 1 cup (your preference; I prefer shallow frying)
  1. Cut cauliflower into boneless wing like florets
  2. Mix lemon juice and non-dairy milk together to form a vegan buttermilk; soak florets in mixture for 10 min.
  3. In a separate bowl mix together flour and spices
  4. Coat cauliflower in dredge mixture and set a side for frying,
  5. Heat saute pan with vegetable to medium heat and shallow fry florets until crispy on both sides. Cook as long as you desire. I cooked mine for about 4 min on each side.
  6. Once florets are done, toss them in buffalo sauce and bake in the oven for 10 min. Enjoy!! Serves best with baked potato wedges.
