Joe and I recently hiked Sturtevant Falls with a few friends. First, ya'll it was absolutely beautiful!! One thing I love about California is how beautiful the mountains are. The blend between mountain and city scape is absolutely breath taking. The hike was about 2 miles in and 2 out making it a bit less than 4 total. We went with Joe's co worker Roy who is the most informed boy scout instructor I've ever met. Well, to be honest, he's the only boy scout instructor I've ever met. He's Also super handy to have on your team in case of the walking dead. I'll swap cooking classes for wilderness knowledge any day. Outside of Roy, we also went hiking with another one of his coworkers Jerry and our mutual friend Darcelle. Jerry invited us to one party which led to more and fast forward... we're all friends.

The hike was pretty breezy in the beginning. Especially since it was mainly down hill. Once the hike actually begins, its really nice and pretty steady pace. There are a bunch of cabin homes along the trail that people can actually rent and stay inn. I can understand why you'd want to but we literally saw a lady hiking to her cabin with frame almost as big as her. All I'm saying... well... typing is that you'd have to really love hiking to stay in one of those cabins.

There are multiple trails along the way too so we could've easily veered off and made the hike a lot longer. I can definitely see Joe and I going there and getting lost in it all. Well, not really being getting lost would probably drive Joe crazy LOL. All in all we had a good time and i hope you guys enjoy the pics I got the sneak in.
